We often live in the past and allow past events and emotions to shape our future, thus repeating the past over and over. This repetition is shown through generational photographs that turn photographs into objects — making them a reality.

Enid is comprised of traditional wet darkroom and digital photography. The series, creates an overwhelming repetitive environment within each photograph by collaging photographs within photographs. This state is often linked to depression, psychosis, suicide, and narcissism. All of the above have the common act of repetition. Enid faces her self-image, deconstructing who and what she is, the overwhelming amount of layers and personas that she has accumulated. These layers have her defenseless and trapped in her own world. The dramatic compositions, and the feeling that this is the story in its entirety, results in a photographic series that are as graphically strong and cinematic.
