I got to thinking of you recently, and of MS. When I was a kid, I did back yard fun fairs to raise money for MS. I was hoping THEN they would find a cure. How are you hadeling it? I trust, it’s not handeling you!

Farooq,
Unfortunately there is no “Cure” for MS, it is a life long chronic disease. There are people who claim to have cured themselves, and where it gets murky is there is no one test to prove that MS is cured. When I asked my doctor I think I am cured how do I test for that he said, “lets wait 10 years to see if you have no relapses, the you can go off the meds.” – so there you have it

I got to this by sampling Tweets from WebWomen – I didn’t know there was another DCWW with MS! Next event, we’ll have to make contact. I got my diagnosis in 1997, but still don’t know anyone else who has it.
